SA considering easing restrictions

South Australia will be looking to ease restrictions in the near future says Premier Steven Marshall.

“We’re just looking at the effects of easing those restrictions, we don’t want a significant second wave in South Australia. But we do think we’re getting to that point where we can start easing those restrictions.

“I think first among those is going to be easing the density arrangements around hospitality.”

Marshall says while caps on home gatherings can be “very annoying”, hospitality changes are directly tied to jobs and would therefore be considered first.

“From an economic perspective we know this is very crippling on many small businesses having those density limits in place and that will be our highest priority.”
