NSW daily cases climb to 3763

The number of hospitalised coronavirus cases in NSW has passed 300 as new cases in the state climbed to a national record of 3763 in the 24 hours to 8pm on Tuesday.

There are 303 hospitalised cases, compared with 284 yesterday, and there were two deaths. There are 40 cases in ICU, up from 39.

The cases are up by about 22 per cent from 3057 cases yesterday.
