Melb firm has provided legal pot to 1,925

ASX-listed medical marijuana company Althea says it is providing cannabis to nearly 2,000 Australian patients with debilitating conditions.

Melbourne-based Althea says 1,925 patients have been prescribed with medical pot in Australia by 296 healthcare professionals.

“Althea continues to facilitate a growing number of Australian doctors to prescribe Althea medicinal cannabis to patients all over the country, with thousands of Australians now benefiting from treatment with Althea medicinal cannabis,” chief executive Josh Fegan said.
