Victoria reports 24 new local cases, NT records no new cases

Victoria reports 24 new local cases.

“Of the 24 locally-acquired cases, 20 are linked to known outbreaks and 18 have been in isolation for the entirety of their infectious period.”

The Northern Territory has recorded no cases in the 24 hours to 8pm last night as Darwin and Katherine reach the end of their three-day lockdown.

Chief Minister Michael Gunner revealed the case numbers on Facebook.

“We are just waiting on some more data from close and casual contacts this morning.“

A press conference is expected to be held at 12pm.

NT went into the 72-hour lockdown on Monday 12pm after recording one positive case of COVID-19 from a man who returned to the Top End from overseas.
