Parramatta will host its first Lebanese Festival at Barton Park in North Parramatta on Sunday, 22 November 2026, bringing together Lebanese food, music, dance and community activities.
The free, family-friendly festival will run from 11am to 4pm and is open to the wider community. Organisers expect thousands of visitors to attend throughout the day.
Live Music and Cultural Performances
The main stage will feature performances from Australian singer-songwriter Faydee, Lebanese singer Wael Mansour and DJ Mark Kross.
The program will also include traditional Dabke, belly dancing, roving drummers, live bands and other Lebanese cultural performances.
Faydee is known for combining pop and R&B with Middle Eastern influences, while Wael Mansour will perform Arabic music as part of the afternoon program.
Food, Markets and Cooking Demonstrations
More than 20 food and drink vendors are expected to take part, with a focus on Lebanese food and locally operated businesses.
Visitors will also be able to browse market stalls selling products including Lebanese pantry items, coffee, homewares and handmade goods.
A live cooking demonstration featuring Karima Hazim from Sunday Kitchen will showcase Lebanese dishes and cooking traditions.
Activities for Families
The festival will include a range of interactive workshops and family activities, including drumming sessions, arts and crafts, face painting, hair braiding and sporting activities.
Children’s author Jemima Shafei-Ongu will also take part in a story session featuring A Lemon for Safiya.
Other activities listed by organisers include storytelling, cultural demonstrations and community activations.
Part of Parramatta’s Multicultural Events Program
The Lebanese Festival will join Parramatta’s broader calendar of cultural events, which includes celebrations such as Diwali, Lunar New Year and the Warami First Nations program.
The event is designed to highlight the contribution of Parramatta’s Lebanese-Australian community while giving visitors an opportunity to experience Lebanese food, music and cultural traditions.
The inaugural Lebanese Festival will take place at Barton Park, North Parramatta, from 11am to 4pm on 22 November, with entry free.
