New Hope lifts FY profit 41% to $210.7m

New Hope Corporation has lifted full-year profit 41 per cent to $210.7 million, boosted by its increased stake in the Bengalla mine.

Revenue for the 12 months to July 31 rose 21.1 per cent to $1.31 billion, while Bengalla in NSW upped production over a year in which New Hope doubled the size of its stake with the purchase of Wesfarmers’ 40 per cent interest,

The coal miner raised its fully franked final dividend by 1.9 cents to 9.9 cents, taking its full-year payout to 17 cents.
