Simply Energy has promised customers in Queensland and South Australia a price cut on their power, while gas bills will be cheaper for NSW customers.
From August 1, prices in those two states will come down by up to 5.4 per cent for households, while residential gas bills in NSW will be cut by three per cent.
“We understand that the price of energy is front of mind for Australians, so we’re pleased to be able to deliver these reductions,” CEO Carly Wishart said on Wednesday.
