Winston Hills and North Rocks residents can now enjoy 12 new pickleball courts, with upgrades to sporting facilities at Third Settlement Reserve and Don Moore Reserve now complete.
The project has transformed existing courts into multi-purpose recreation spaces, adding pickleball line markings to netball courts, along with resurfacing works, new seating and improved footpaths for locals to enjoy a wider range of sports and recreational activities.
At Third Settlement Reserve, works included resurfacing the basketball and netball courts, new posts, pickleball line markings, seating and minor footpath improvements. The upgrade was completed in July 2026.
At Don Moore Reserve, courts five and six were resurfaced and provided with new line markings, including for pickleball, with the project completed in August 2026.
The new courts add to Parramatta’s growing pickleball network, bringing the total number of pickleball venues across the City to five.
City of Parramatta Lord Mayor Cr Martin Zaiter said the sport had grown rapidly in popularity and the new facilities would provide more opportunities for residents to play close to home.
“Pickleball is taking off across Parramatta, and we’re responding by creating more places for people to play close to home,” Cr Zaiter said.
He said the upgrades formed part of Council’s investment in recreational facilities designed to support healthier and more active communities.
