Queensland vaccination requirements eased

The Palaszczuk government has also shortened the requirement for people who have been recently vaccinated entering the state from two to one week.

Health Minister Yvette D’Ath said there had been 40 cases of coronavirus from interstate since they introduced the home quarantine system at the 70 per cent vaccination rate.

She said there could still be targeted actions if there is COVID-19 outbreaks in Queensland.

“We can expect a lot more cases once we open up. While we all celebrate opening up, we must do everything we can to slow down the spread,” she said.
