Victoria reports 20 new local cases, QLD 4 new cases

Victoria reports 20 new local cases.

“Of the 20 new locally-acquired cases, 15 have been linked to current outbreaks and 5 are still under investigation. 14 have been in quarantine throughout their infectious periods.”

Queensland has recorded four new local cases of coronavirus overnight, all linked to the Indooroopilly cluster in Brisbane’s western suburbs.

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said the result was “tremendous” news because they were all in home quarantine.

“So, well done, Queensland, and well down to everybody who’s staying in that home quarantine,” she said.

“Remember, you can’t leave unless you get that final piece of paper from Queensland Health to say that your home quarantine has finished.”
