Bubs Australia has signed a deal with China’s Alibaba ecommerce business to import adult goat milk powders into China.
About $10 million worth of Bubs’ CapriLac and Deloraine goat milk powders are expected to shipped to China in year one of the deal.
Alibaba will import the products under its centralised import procurement initiative and will distribute them through its online and offline channels.
Bubs said China’s goat dairy market was worth $A2 billion.
“There is a huge and growing market for premium adult goat-based dairy products,” Bubs founder and chief executive Kristy Carr said.
