Make your vote count and make Dominic Perrottet listen

Voters in the Strathfield by-election can use their vote to make Dominic Perrottet listen to the health experts on how to he should handle the COVID-19 health crisis.

Labor Candidate for Strathfield, Jason Yat-sen Li said electors must ensure their vote is cast properly in order to send the Premier a message that he must do better.

“Strathfield is one of the most diverse electorates in the country, over half the community was born overseas.  People from language backgrounds other than English have every right to have a say in who will represent them.”

“If you have concerns about how to cast a formal vote, please vote in person on February 12, or at one of the pre-poll locations.”

“If you must do a postal vote, please ensure you understand the instructions by asking a friend or family member to help. You will need a witness to sign underneath your signature for your vote to be formal.”

“I am concerned many voters are unaware there is by-election on February 12 because of a lack of public education.  Many who voted recently in the local council elections are confused and don’t realise they need to also vote in the State by-election.”

Mr Li was speaking in Burwood where he was today endorsed by former Australian Prime Minister, The Hon Kevin Rudd AC.

Prepoll voting locations:

·       Burwood Park Community Centre, 2B Comer Street, Burwood NSW 2134

·       Strathfield Town Hall     65 Homebush Road, Strathfield NSW 2135

·       Strathfield Region Returning Officer, 52 Hampstead Road, Homebush West NSW 2140
