NSW recorded 444 new locally acquired COVID-19 cases, with four people dying as a result of the virus.
On Tuesday, the state reported it had dipped below 400 cases recorded for the first time in 2 months.
There were also two new overseas acquired cases, taking case numbers to 446.
Meanwhile, 90.8 per cent of people aged 16 plus have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, with 75.2 per cent of people aged 16 and over fully vaccinated.
Victoria’s outbreak continues to stabilise with the state reporting 1571 cases.
This is up from 1466 cases reported on Tuesday.
