NSW reports 199 new cases, 50 in the community

New South Wales is reporting 199 new locally acquired coronavirus cases today.

Premier Gladys Berejiklian says this includes 50 cases in the community while infectious.

The majority of cases are concentrated in the eight south-western and western Sydney local government areas under even tighter restrictions.

“Workplaces and households are the main places where the virus is transmitting, so we urge everybody, if you must leave the house, assume everybody you’re coming into contact with has the virus,” Ms Berejiklian says.
