Reserve Bank audit committee member Rahoul Chowdry will join AMP as a non-executive director next month.
The bank and wealth manager says Mr Chowdry, who is partner and national leader of Minter Ellison’s financial services, risk and regulatory practice, has more than 35 years’ of experience auditing and advising major banks and multinational institutions in Australia, Canada and the UK.
“He will bring valuable insight to the board as the industry navigates increasing regulatory, governance and risk requirements,” AMP chairman David Murray said.
