Bubs’ goat milk to hit shelves in Vietnam

Bubs Australia goat milk formula is set to hit shelves in Vietnam after the company struck a distribution deal with the country’s flagship mother and baby store chain, BiboMart JS Company.

The ASX-listed formula maker said the initial two-year deal is expected to generate $1.5 million in the first year and $2 million in the second with Bubs products to start appearing in 135 BiboMart stores from December, predominantly in Vietnam’s major metropolitan areas.

While the distribution agreement with Viet Nam TVV Service and Trading Company Limited may be terminated if these minimum sales targets are not met, Bubs said it was looking forward to a long-standing partnership and a chance to crack the country’s $2.2 billion infant nutritionals market.

Product is expected to be on Bibo Mart shelves by December.

Bubs shares were up 2.3 per cent to $1.095 shortly after the market opened.
