Coca-Cola Amatil has sold its former Thebarton bottling plant in SA for redevelopment as residential and commercial use.
The main manufacturing lot at the facility, which produced 10 billion bottles over 65 years before being shuttered in December, has been sold for an undisclosed amount to Adelaide’s Australasian Property Developments.
“This site has been a huge part of Adelaide’s working history, and we’re happy it will now be reactivated to go on supporting commercial, industrial and construction jobs,” Amatil group general manager of property Matt Toohey said.
