Former RBA board member Fagg joins NAB

NAB has appointed former Reserve Bank board member Kathryn Fagg as a non-executive director, with the Boral chairman saying she wants to help rebuild trust in the lender.

Ms Fagg, who will retire as a non-executive director of Incitec Pivot in December, says she believes a strong banking system is essential for Australia’s economic wellbeing.

“I look forward to bringing my knowledge and experience from multiple sectors, including banking, to address the challenges and opportunities for NAB to earn the trust and respect of its shareholders, customers, employees and the broader community,” Ms Fagg said.
