Parramatta has transformed into football fan central for 31 days as one of the world’s biggest sports events comes to Australia and New Zealand – the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
From 4pm, Thursday 20 July, come and enjoy a line-up of footballers showing off their skills, a DJ and plenty of giveaways, as fans gather to watch New Zealand take on Norway on the big screen, followed by Australia versus Ireland.
The Western Sydney Wanderers will also be hosting activities and giveaways at Parramatta Square throughout the 31 days of competition.
Matildas midfielder Emily van Egmond is the official ambassador for Parramatta’s live site and will be regularly posting about all the excitement on social media throughout the World Cup.
The live site has been brought together in partnership with Parramatta Square, Optus and Western Sydney Wanderers FC.
